Never been to Daltons before. Will 100% go again; wow. It is so small, and FATWF sold it out for the best show I've been to in a long time. I have not been into them for very long - accidentally found their KEXP and loved it - and I was super lucky that they played locally so soon after I found them!
Support was from Kitchen Lover who were also brilliant. Looking forward to their debut record, which is supposedly coming this summer
This venue has a very low ceiling. I can touch it without tip-toeing. And if you choose to crowd surf, you will be pushed into the ceiling, which is weirdly awesome.
I was very close to the stage, there's no barrier, and the crowd was very energetic. Long story short: I nearly got pushed into the drums, but someone who had previously been my Gig Nemesis grabbed me and saved me.
Such a fun show and it was really difficult to edit these down. Dylan Sizemore is an amazing frontman, and I got tonnes of photos. Unfortunately I was too engrossed for his "this is a stick-up" bit and missed that.
Wide angle on my phone to try and show how close I was to the stage. Doesn't really convey it.
The hand print I left when I nearly fell into the stage
You will be pressed into the ceiling...
...no matter who you are
