Big Saturday. Unusual for us. But also probably not big by most standards.
Tabitha is staying at a friend's tonight. She's not done that much before and it's unusual, especially for Charlotte.
We went to Horsham because Horsham has a John Lewis, and that was a location to drop the child off with her friend. Horsham also has a very pleasant Saturday market. We had Syrian cheese samosas (yes to this) and a ridiculously cheesy grandma slice.
We found the fancy part of Horsham. Reminded me a lot of Windsor; lots of very beautiful homes. We walked by the river for a while and spotted a heron. Then my X100 pissed me off so much I nearly threw it in the river. It completely missed focus on what I felt would've been today's picture and made me so mad. It has now been relegated for a while to think about what it's done. Rucksacks and R5s for a while. I love having a sweaty back so much.
Forest was pretty good today. Not great but he wasn't trying to mob every single dog he saw so that's a small win, but he still isn't walking very well. It must be a labrador thing; he's always got his nose on the ground and he pulls and trips you and it's so annoying. It's like walking a very heavy bumblebee.
He's much better travelling in the boot of the Golf though. He's so irritating on the back seat but in the boot he just lies down and sleeps. Now I want some sort of European estate car but I don't want to have to sell the Boxster to get one. We bought a lottery ticket. Audi if you're reading this (and I know you are), an A4 TDI estate would look so good in these images 📞👈
For dinner, Charlotte made these unbelievable paneer burgers. We were going to get takeaway this evening but I would eat one of these things any day over takeaway.
It's strange not having the baby in the house.
The light in this is unbelievable for a slice of pizza
This was nearly today's photo. Might even change it later.
