Tabitha and I went for a walk without the dog because he was already out! It's already weird, walking without him.

Chris Riddell drew these 15 minute portraits for a charity in Brighton and it was such a sweet experience.

Tabitha had to go to school today for an open day. Charlotte and I went for breakfast, then we all went for a walk. Making the most of the beautiful weather.

We went for a walk as Charlotte wanted to go blackberry picking. Wholesome enough on its own, but it took a turn for the even-more-wholesome!

There's nearly seven years between these pictures. So much has changed. Very happy to have such a great kid and I'm so excited for her to start secondary.

Wanted to go to these since we saw Tom Scott's video about them. They're not open to the public all the time but they do occasionally sell tickets.

Charlotte met up with a friend in London, so Tabitha and I had a very expensive day filled with inefficient travel!

We went lambing at Middle Farm with Dan, Allyson and their two boys. They were too young for it, and I think Tabitha is too old now. Plus it's a weirdly corporate affair.

Not sure how this has happened but yep. Eleven. She played a badminton match and chose what she ate all day (so junk pretty much!)

We went to our favourite restaurant and Tabitha did some jumping

I helped a friend move house yesterday. It was a lot. Was looking forward to a relaxing day today, that didn't really end up being.

Feeling a bit sick of going to Brighton and seeing and doing the same things so we went to London for the day.

We've been parents for a decade. It's surreal to think about how much has changed in that time. How much a person changes from 0-10, and 27-37; and how much stays the same.

We went for a little walk around Eastbourne. I like it there. There's a weird number of Greek restaurants in very close proximity. They slice their halloumi laterally like I like it.

I've been so busy with work since I got back from Nashville, and the weather sucked too much to go out taking pictures most days. Still I got a few snaps, even if they're pretty crummy, most of them.

Went to go and look at some local Christmas lights. Didn't really find any but did have a go at taking some photos of the stars since it was a clear night. Moderately happy with the results I guess?

I've never been trick or treating before. It was quite fun.

When I was a kid I loved steam trains. I think that's a fairly common thing. I've wanted to visit this railway for ages.
Tabitha finally had her cast removed. The last 4 weeks have felt like such a long time, but have also gone very quickly. Probably not the case for Tabitha. Little video on here of the process of getting the cast cut off. Nothing terribly squeamish in there but if you have a mind that likes to wander about these things I would probably skip it! I like that they call them "wires" - they're more like tent pegs, but that would probably be a bit too scary.

Well, technically, fractured but it's functionally the same from our perspectives. This was one of the worst weeks of the last two years of my life.
